May is one of the busiest months in Ibiza thanks to the opening of all the clubs and important events like the International Music Summit (IMS). This event is well known in the electronic music industry and is held late May, so it’s the perfect excuse for a getaway to Ibiza when the island kicks off the new season. Don’t miss it!

What is IMS Ibiza?

IMS Ibiza is a three-day conference that has been taking place since 2007 to debate the present and future of electronic music. This event, that will held be from 23rd to 25th May this year, is a must for people who are interested in this industry and they can expect masterclasses, conferences, interviews and debates given by the most relevant figures in the electronic music world. But besides these activities, IMS Ibiza offers one of the most awaited events in the season: the Grand Finale.

The Grand Finale of IMS Ibiza 2018

The key moment of IMS Ibiza is the Grand Finale, an outdoor party that is thrown in the bastion of Santa Llucía, one of the iconic spots in the city of Ibiza. With incredible views over the port and the old part of Ibiza, this event gathers well-known international DJs. The 2018 Grand Finale will take place on Friday 25th May and will last for seven hours with sessions by Sven Väth, Pete Tong & Bedouin, Paco Osuna & Andrea Oliva, Nastia & Dubfire, Jackmaster & Peggy Gou, Danny Tenaglia & Guy Gerber and Burn Residency Dj & Furkhan Kurt. Tickets to the event are now on sale on the IMS Ibiza website.

Apart from the Grand Finale of IMS Ibiza, you can also join the fantastic openings planned for that weekend. If you’d like to come to Ibiza that weekend, besides the party that will be held on Friday 25th May, you will get the chance to go to the following openings:
