On average, the highest temperature in April is 19ºC and the lowest is 11ºC, whereas May reaches 23ºC as the highest temperature and 14ºC as the lowest. As for rain, the average number of rainy days these months is 4 in April and 3 in May.

Sea temperature in the spring

We are certain that you’ll be longing to don your bathing costume on the warm days in Ibiza in April and May and willing to dip into the sea: as it will be pretty hot and it’s so lovely in the sun that you’ll dry off fine without worrying about getting cold. However, at the start of spring, the sea temperature is about 20 to 21ºC which might be a bit chilly for some travellers. What to pack for your spring holidays in Ibiza

• summery clothes for the day.
• sunglasses, sun cream and hat to protect your head and face.
• sandals and open toe shoes but also a pair of closed shoes in case you get the 3 to 4 rainy days in April and May.
• jacket or light coat for the evenings, which are still chilly during this season.
