Ibiza in June: special events

Opening parties for Hï and Ushauaïa Ibiza

In June, Hï and Ushuaïa Ibiza will be opening the season with several parties. Read on, because these opening parties are near our suites in Playa d’en Bossa (only a 10 minute walk). The dates are:

• Calvin Harris, 3rd June. Ushuaïa Ibiza
• The Martinez Brothers, 14th June. Hï Ibiza
• CamelPhat, 14th June. Ushuaïa Ibiza

Ibiza Gay Pride

This lively festival will once again be celebrating LGTB+ rights and achievements in the city of Ibiza, on s'Arenal beach, in Sant Antoni, and in the Auditorio Caló de s’Oli, from 10th to 18th June. Acrobatics, theatre, dance and music shows, short film viewings, talks and exhibitions will join the key events planned for this festival in the city of Ibiza, such as the Drag Gala (Teatro Can Ventosa), the parties in La Virgen and Alfonso XII streets; and the parade along the harbour.

San Juan Night

The night of the 23rd to the 24th June is magical and celebrated along the entire Spanish east coast. And of course, in Sant Joan, in Ibiza, too. You can enjoy this Mediterranean party in this small village in the north of Ibiza or experience other night festivities on Figueretes beach or other beaches on the island.

Ivana Spagna at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

If you can’t help bopping to the best 80s’ hits, you mustn’t miss the Children of the 80s party held at Hart Rock Hotel Ibiza on Fridays. And if you're a fan of Ivana Spagna, don’t miss her show on 24th June. Call me, call me, baby, baby, call me now!

SDL Ibiza Festival 2022

From 28th June to 2nd July, the city of Ibiza will be welcoming the Sueños de Libertad (Dreams of Freedom) Festival for the fifth year. This festival will bring us Spanish and foreign music artists as well as street art, markets and a food zone. So far, the festival has confirmed the performance of Bomba Estéreo, Quantic, Eliades Ochoa, Queralt Lahoz, Nickodemus, Go Cactus and Nabil, but we’re still waiting for the full line-up. The old harbour of Ibiza will be the stage for this great festival of indie, alternative and fusion music.

Ibiza in July: Dates to remember

Opening party of Carl Cox at DC10

The iconic and charismatic Carl Cox will be the resident DJ at DC10 in July and August. If you don’t want to miss him, note down the opening party on 5th June. And if you’re not in Ibiza, remember that he’ll be there every Tuesday until 30th August.

Maluma in Ibiza

Colombian artist Maluma, winner of a Latin Grammy in 2018, will be performing in Ibiza four times this summer, all of them in Pachá nightclub. If you’re a fan of Maluma, don’t forget the name of this event, Latin Gang, and the dates: 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th July.

Ozuna in Hï Ibiza

Puerto rican urban artist Ozuna will be on tour since next 30th June, with two stops in Hï Ibiza: 24th July and 31st July, last stop in his 2022 European Tour. Another big plan just a short walk from Ibiza Sun Apartments!

Ibiza in August: Don’t miss...

Bloop Festival

This cross-disciplinary street art festival will be returning this summer. From 1st to 20th August, it will fill La Marina district and other areas in the island’s capital with interactive installations, photo and video-art exhibitions, murals and graffiti made by well-known international street artists, music shows, workshops and many other free activities. If you're staying with us at the time, visit Ibiza city to catch the creative and street vibe.

Festes de la Terra

From 1st to 8th August, Ibiza city will be celebrating its local fiestas with a lively programme that includes folk dances, traditional Ibizan food, music shows by Spanish artists, firework displays and many more activities. Nicky Jam in Hï Ibiza

Global latin and reggaeton superstar Nicky Jam will play at Hï Ibiza four consecutive Mondays from 18th July to August 8th. If you love reggaeton and latin trap, don’t miss this plan for 2022 Ibiza summer!

Ibiza in September: festivals you mustn’t miss

Eivissa Jazz Festival

From 30th August to 3rd September, Ibiza will once again welcome this must-see summer festival in Ibiza. For five days, La Marina district in Ibiza and Santa Llucía bastion in Dalt Vila will be the stage for local, national and international artists, including big names from the jazz scene. Some concerts are free and you can get tickets as soon as the programme is up on the Turisme Eivissa website or on the Eivissa Jazzz Facebook page.

Territori, International Performance Art Festival 2022

If you’re in Ibiza in September and you like performance art, don’t miss this festival from 17th to 25th September in different spaces in Dalt Vila, in the city of Ibiza. For the third year, this event will once again host talks, audiovisual sessions, a workshop for artists and, of course, performances. All activities, except for the workshop, are free and for anyone who’s interested in artistic expression, whether an artist or a spectator.
