What can I do in Ibiza in May?
To be honest, there’s so much to do in Ibiza in May that it would be shorter to tell you what you can’t do. You can swim in the sea, go hiking, sail, ride a bike inland, explore the Ibizan coast in a kayak, go diving and snorkelling, learn paddle surf, visit street markets, enjoy the atmosphere at the beach clubs in Ibiza... Even go to the openings of clubs that start early May.
What’s the weather like in Ibiza in May?
If you’re travelling to Ibiza in May, you’ll be greeted by pleasant weather with a maximum temperature of 25ºC and a minimum temperature of 13ºC on average. So your days will be warm enough to go to the beach! Furthermore, it only rains about 3 days a month on average in May so don’t forget your bathing costume or trunks, sunglasses, sunscreen cream and a hat or scarf to cover your head.

- Go back in time to the Medieval Ibiza
From 10th to 13th May, the old town in the island’s capital hosts the Ibiza Medieval event where masses of people fill up the streets in the walled area of Dalt Vila with street entertainment and countless stalls with handicrafts and food. Don’t miss it!
- Lie down in a beach club
By May, all the beach clubs have opened for the season. In Playa d’en Bossa beach you will find some of the best known ones on the island, such as Nassau Beach which is only a short walk away from Ibiza Sun Apartments.

- Taste Ibiza’s cuisine at a fixed price
The concept of a set menu is very popular in Spain. They usually offer several choices for starters, main course and dessert at a fixed price.
